Elaine Keiser Architect is seeking a highly motivated Junior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work with our highly trained team to develop Project Designs. The ideal candidate would be highly flexible and able to understand construction documents.

Responsibilities:

Maintain project files and records, ensuring that all relevant information is
organized and easily accessible.
Be able to construct schematic designs for various parts of a project
Be able to conduct site visits, do field measuring and produce as-built drawings.
Be able to produce Design Development drawings for all parts of a project
Material Research
Structural Design- be able to layout Structural Framing, foundations, coordinate
plans, sections, and details with engineers.
Electrical Design- be able to layout basic lighting, power and communications.
Strong with CAD Drafting abilities
Familiar with 3D design

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Science and Architecture or Related field
3+ years of experience in building/ structure designs (preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. (required)
Ability to understand and close out construction documents.
